About the Role

The Senior eBilling Analyst's responsibilities include coordinating with other departments to ensure all matters and invoices are billed in a manner meeting the client’s guidelines, setting clients up for billing and continuing to improve eBilling processes throughout the firm.

Key responsilibilies:

• Overseeing two legal Practice Groups to ensure eBills are submitted promptly and rejections investigated swiftly.
• Supervise a team of four eBilling assistants.
• Analysing all eBilling procedures and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Reviewing invoices to ensure billing accuracy.
• Communicating with clients, Partners and other departments, resolving issues, and providing clarifications.
• Ensuring eBilling accounts are set up correctly and according to client requirements.
• Preparing reports.
• Gather and reconcile rejection data for analysis.
• On-board new clients.
• Prepare training material for the wider finance team and fee earners to improve billing performance.
• Configure software setups to improve billing performance.


About You

To be successful as a Senior eBilling Analyst you should be able to work independently and efficiently under pressure. Ultimately, an outstanding Senior eBilling Analyst should be able to ensure smooth and accurate billing operations.

Key skills:

• Knowledge of legal billing systems desirable.
• Works as part of the wider finance/billing function to ensure that an effective billing service is provided.
• Builds good working relationships both internally and externally.
• Working knowledge of 3E Management system or similar practice management systems preferred.
• Presents a professional image internally and to external organisations at all times
• Previous experience as a Billing Analyst or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for problem solving.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise.
